Service Dog
Training
Training a service dog is an extensive process, and not every dog is cut out to be a service dog. That's why one of the most important steps is first selecting and assessing a dog to see if they are a good candidate. If you already have a dog that you are hoping to train as your service dog, you will need to schedule an assessment visit before any other steps are taken. If you have not yet selected a dog, we can help you with that process!

A service dog must be TASK trained to assist a handler with a legally recognized disability. Simply providing comfort is not a task! Tasks can include retrieval, mobility support, medical alert, and more. We can help you identify tasks to train and break down how to do so.

Finally, service dogs must be well-mannered in public and remain on task without getting distracted. This means they must pass a public access test and be reassessed on a yearly basis to ensure they continue to remain fit for service dog work.
Intake Visit
$60
We can assess your dog as a candidate for service dog work with an intake visit. Please note, if your dog is under 18 months old, you will not be eligible for the Service Dog package until they have reached this age and been reassessed, but we can still work with you through their puppy months to prepare you for service dog training and set you up for success!
